Cas and Clara's Litter

Born: 11/28/2024

Colors: Parti, Liver, & Black

Puppies are available now

Our lives took a delightful turn when Baby Cas, a mega-coated black and silver Miniature Schnauzer gentleman, weighing in at a solid 22lbs, strutted into our home on March 29th, 2019. Little did we know, this dapper fellow would be our gateway into the wonderful, whimsical world of schnauzers. He's the original, the spark that ignited our love for the breed. Incredibly intelligent and remarkably intuitive, Cas charms everyone he meets with his friendly demeanor and striking good looks. He's truly his momma's pride and joy, a constant source of happiness. Now, adding to the joy is Clara, our liver pepper mega-coated girlie, who arrived just in time for the holidays on December 23, 2023. This mischievous bundle of energy is already gearing up for a future in agility sports, with training well underway and plans to compete in 2025. At 10 months old and weighing around 15 pounds, Clara spends her days entertaining herself with toys, playfully testing the limits of our other furry companions, and using her undeniably adorable teddy bear appearance to avoid any serious reprimands. Snuggled in her own baby bassinet, she drifts off to sleep each night serenaded by a rendition of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." We eagerly anticipate welcoming a litter of puppies from Clara and Baby Cas sometime in 2025, a litter sure to inherit their parents' stunning good looks and captivating personalities.

Dream and Cacie's Litter

Coda

Born: 4/17/2024

Weight: 32.5 pounds at 15 weeks

Coda is the pick of the litter from Cacie and Copper’s last litter. Currently she is the only
one in her litter that is not training to be a service dog. We plan to take her in the
direction in which she can excel to her absolute full potential. We have high expectations of this little lady.
The culmination of careful planning and dedicated effort, this breeding represents a significant step forward in the world of working Pepper/Salt Giant Schnauzers. The sire, Barbamagna It's a Beautiful Day, affectionately known as "Dream," stands as a testament to exceptional breeding. His impressive array of conformation titles, including a prestigious World title as a veteran in 2023, showcase his undeniable physical merit. But beyond his beauty, Dream's prowess as a working dog is equally compelling, proven by his rigorous training and achievements in BH/VT, BGH 3, IGP 2, and IGP V, demonstrating his drive and trainability. This Italian-based canine embodies the ideal of a dual-purpose Giant Schnauzer.

On the other side of this exceptional pairing is Macie Barleys Ribbons Lace, affectionately known as "Cacie Girl" which we consider to be a remarkable gem, a true diamond from the rough. While her titles may be fewer - CGC, CGCA, and CGCU - her true testament lies in her incredible productivity as a dam. In just two litters, Cacie has produced five service dogs, a testament to her temperament and the quality of her offspring. Further cementing her versatility, one pup works on a ranch, and another is currently under training for IGP, sired by a CCW&G IGP1 sire, highlighting the working lines coursing through her veins. Cacie herself is actively engaged in IGP training, with plans to secure her own titles later in 2025.

This promising litter is poised to inherit the best of both worlds: Dream's exceptional conformation and proven working abilities, combined with Cacie's stellar production of versatile and driven offspring. Anticipation is high, as we believe this line will be instrumental in elevating the working capabilities of Pepper/Salt Giants in a meaningful way. The potential within this litter is immense, and we are filled with excitement to witness their impact on the breed. Given the already considerable interest, with a waiting list in place, we encourage those who are serious about adding a dog from this exceptional bloodline to contact us via The Copper Cottage Canines contact page.

Zumba and Drak's Litter

Coda

Born: 4/17/2024

Weight: 32.5 pounds at 15 weeks

Coda is the pick of the litter from Cacie and Copper’s last litter. Currently she is the only
one in her litter that is not training to be a service dog. We plan to take her in the
direction in which she can excel to her absolute full potential. We have high expectations of this little lady.
Careful consideration was given to the breeding of Great Dragon Fantom Chlumu, affectionately known as "Drak." We are extremely proud to offer you one of the best representatives of his breed. With a structure that exemplifies the ideal qualities of a giant, Drak boasts an impressive track record, underscored by multiple V1 and V2 titles, a Best of Breed accolade, and his status as the CAC Czech Republic National Champion. His athletic prowess is equally notable, evidenced by his successful IGP career, where he has earned his BH and is set to trial for his IGP1 in March. Beyond his physical capabilities, Drak possesses a temperament that has qualified him to serve as a service dog, highlighting his versatility and stable nature.

On the other hand, Zumba von der Schönburg stands as a remarkable competitor with unparalleled accomplishments in the United States. She embodies the quintessential traits of a giant, having achieved titles that many can only aspire to, including IGP3, Körung, and the prestigious title of National Champion Tracking Dog in Sachsen, Germany, for 2022. As a breeding female, Zumba reigns at the top of her class, consistently producing exceptionally talented offspring. Her own accolades as a dam, including Körung, International Beauty Champion, IGP3, and National Champions, solidify her status as a foundation dam in the field. Notable Offspring from Zumba include Diva von der Schönburg, Desch von der Schönburg, Harrison von der Schönburg, and Hermann von der Schönburg—just to name a few.

This upcoming litter promises to continue this legacy of excellence. The pairing of Zumba with the strong, well-structured, and correctly minded Drak creates an exciting foundation where champions are destined to be born. With such carefully selected lineage, we look forward to seeing the remarkable traits these pups will inherit, solidifying their place in the world of giants. The combination of Drak and Zumba is not just an opportunity for exceptional quality in dogs; it is a commitment to preserving and elevating the standards of the breed for future generations.
